Aleš Zavrl is the Head of Club Licensing at UEFA since 2017. Before joining UEFA, he was the General Secretary of the Football Association of Slovenia (2010-2017) and held several positions within the administration as Club Licensing Manager and Competitions Director.
Aleš was involved in the UEFA club licensing system at international level as member of the pilot working group since the beginning of the project in 1999. Following the successful implementation of the system at UEFA and national level, Aleš was appointed a member of the UEFA Club Licensing Committee (2007-2017) and during his professional activity involved in numerous UEFA panels and working groups. At national level, he was also the member of the Council for Sport of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia (2013-2017), and as coaching and organisational volunteer involved in grassroots clubs and football schools.
Aleš is a graduate of the Executive Master in Sports Governance by the CDES University of Limoges and a graduate in Science in Economics by the University of Ljubljana.

Madinà joined UEFA in 2019 after graduating with a BBA, starting in Revenue Operations for EURO 2020.
Following the tournament’s delivery and earning her Master in Football Business, she moved to FIFA, contributing to Professional Football with a focus on financial programmes, and to Global Football Development, delivering educational initiatives worldwide.
In 2025, she returned to UEFA as a Club Licensing Coordinator. Outside the pitch (and the office), Madinà is a fitness instructor, helping people lift not just their game, but also some pretty heavy weights.

Hailing from Poland, Anna Polatowska is a multilingual law graduate from Gdansk University. She has also completed postgraduate studies in management at Warsaw School of Economics as well as UEFA Football Law Programme.
In 2008 - 2012 she was responsible for the enforcement of legal guarantees in Poland for UEFA EURO 2012. As of 2013 Anna was the Business Development Manager at the National Stadium in Warsaw. Gerard Freixa is a sports law and finance professional with over 30 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry, including work with UEFA, RFEF, ACB among others . A specialist in club and league finances, he has in-depth expertise in financial control systems, regulatory compliance, and governance structures. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Lleida, his research focuses on legal instruments to enhance the compatibility of financial control mechanisms in professional sports leagues with European Union competition law.

Thomas has spent the last 13 years in UEFA’s Financial Sustainability division, contributing to compliance, audits, and the implementation of Financial Fair Play regulations across European football. Daniele Bernardi was raised in Geneva by Italian parents. He studied finance (HEC) at University of Geneva and after working as financial auditor at Deloitte he graduated from Liverpool University and its prestigious MBA in Football Industries in 2010.

Current Director of Women’s Football at RFEF (Feb 2025 - ), Reyes is attorney-at-Law, holds a degree in Law with a major in the European Union and a Master's in International Relations from the CEU San Pablo University, a Master in Business Taxation from ICADE and a Master degree in Sports Law from the University of Lleida. She was awarded the best RFEF-FIFA-CIES sports management project in 2015.
Reyes has been working in sports law since 2009, with a focus on international football. Experienced in defending players, coaches, clubs, advising agents, confederations, and international federations such as FIFA, she founded Bellver Sports – Legal boutique (2018-2025), a firm dedicated to football law, and the Leadership Woman Football platform, which promoted leadership, equality and diversity in football. Reyes was also an external advisor to FIFA’s Legal Department (2020-2025) with an advisory role in processes such FIFA’s reforms of maternity protocols for female players and coaches (2021 and 2024) and and she is currently an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS, 2023).
As the legal advisor of the Spanish women's footballers' union - FUTPRO (2022-2025), Reyes’ work focused on advocating for the rights of female footballers to better conditions in Spain.

The professional career of Xavier O'Callaghan has always been linked to FC Barcelona, beginning as a professional handball player for the team for 15 years, from 1990 to 2005. During this time, he won 54 titles, including the most notable: 7 Champions League titles, 8 ASOBAL Leagues, and 6 Copa del Rey trophies.
He was also an international player with the Spanish national team, competing in World Championships, European Championships, and two Olympic Games, where he achieved a bronze medal in Sydney 2000 and an Olympic diploma in Athens 2004.
In parallel with his sports career, he pursued academic studies, earning a Diploma in Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona, as well as a Master’s in Sports Management from Ramon Llull University, which included a study period at Saint Mary’s College in the United States.
After 15 years as a professional player, he joined the executive area of FC Barcelona in 2006, initially as the head of the handball section. In 2011, he began managing it jointly with the Futsal and Roller Hockey sections.
In 2018, he was appointed Director of the FC Barcelona office in New York, where he oversaw the club’s operations throughout the American continent until July 2022. During the 2021–22 season, he combined this role with that of Head of Professional Sports Management at FC Barcelona, before becoming Director of Sports at FC Barcelona in January 2025, from which position he supervises all the club’s sports (professional and amateur), except for men’s football.
In addition to his career at FC Barcelona, Xavier O’Callaghan holds various leadership roles in sports organizations, both nationally and internationally:

Pablo Vilches holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Seville.
He has been the CEO of Liga F since 2022, following the designation of women’s football as a professional sport — a process he led as the representative appointed by the clubs of the Women’s Football Association for the creation of the first Professional Women’s Football League in Spain.
Previously, starting in 2016, he served as director of the sports sections of Real Betis Balompié and was responsible for operations in the organization and coordination of events such as the Europa League, in collaboration with UEFA, and the Copa del Rey, together with the RFEF.

Sefton Perry is the Head of the Intelligence Center Analytics unit at UEFA, tasked with supporting evidence-based policy taking and decision making. This is done by applying team meber skillsets (including data science and data management solutions) to the most complete and connected strategic databases in football. For the last decade he has been the author and responsible for: "The European Club Footballing Landscape" which documents ‘off-pitch’ trends in club football across the length and breadth of Europe. He is also a regular contributor to various European football benchmarking reports (Netherlands, Italy, France etc) and ad hoc publications. Sefton had a key role for almost a decade in the creation and development of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play projects supporting UEFA’s 55 National Associations.
He is a UK chartered accountant with a Bachelor of Economics from Loughborough University and an MBA in Football Industries from Liverpool University.

Javier Gómez Molina has been the Corporate General Director of LALIGA since October 2021, following an initial period from 2013 to 2019.
Under his leadership, LALIGA implemented Economic Control in 2013, a self-regulation system that has practically reduced to zero both the debts of clubs with the Public Administration (€650 million) and player complaints over unpaid wages (341 cases).
Prior to his position at LALIGA, he worked for AC Talent Sports & Entertainment from January 2020 until 2021. From 1999 to 2012, he held various positions of responsibility at Valencia CF; he was Chief Financial Officer for the first nine years, then General Manager, and in the last three years, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Gómez holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Valencia, a Master's degree in Taxation from the Colegio de Economistas de Valencia and the Centro de Estudios Garrigues I Law & Business School. He also has extensive training in preparing for public competitive examinations (tax, commercial, civil law, etc.) and has completed various courses related to economic and financial matters.

Alice is a French/English bi-national and qualified lawyer. Prior to joining UEFA, Alice was an associate in Swiss and international law firms focusing on international commercial arbitration and sports arbitration disputes before CAS. As a CFCB lawyer at UEFA, Alice’s work mainly focuses on providing legal advice and support to the UEFA Organs for the Administration of Justice, with particular attention to the CFCB, as well as support to other UEFA divisions in connection with the UEFA CLFS and UEFA disciplinary regulations. In parallel to her work, Alice is a keen sportswoman (although very mediocre at football!).
